BAE Systems Investigations Support Senior Level in Washington, District Of Columbia20044

This position requires the research, documenting and analysis of complex financial and other activities, relationships, and holdings of terrorist organizations, narcotics trafficking organizations, proliferators of weapons of mass destruction, malign regimes, non-state actors, and their agents; and assisting in identifying vulnerabilities of these groups to sanctions and other actions. Support may include, but is not limited to:

1) Reviewing and analyzing a wide range of financial and business data and assisting with the development of analysis which will support the designation of specific persons as Specially Designated Nationals and applying U.S. and multi-lateral sanctions to them and the production of administrative records documenting the factual and legal basis for such action:

a. Assisting Treasury with developing strategies for the use of sanctions actions against specific targets and assisting in compiling administrative records supporting the factual and legal standard to designate a target.

b. Provide supporting analysis of source data and coordinate with other elements of OFAC and other government agencies to establish activities owned or controlled by or acting for or on behalf of Specially Designated Nationals (SDN).

c. Provide input about the likely impact of a potential program, evaluate the impact of current programs and evaluate the impact of particular designations and make recommendations regarding their implementation.

Required Skills And Education

8 years - Must have at least 4 years specialized experience Education: BA/BS Degree or equivalent years of experience. Exp subsitution rules - Bachelor's -Associate's 2 years or 4 years Related Experience Substitution

Individual must be an expert in the sanctions investigation, drawing upon extensive experience in this specific area. This individual should be able to anticipate new requirements, make recommendations for action, and provide support and advice to less experienced contractor personnel. This individual will advise the Treasury on methods and strategies to improve the team's efforts and to enhance the Sanctions Investigation program.
