Nutanix Inside Sales Intern - US Federal in Washington, District Of Columbia

Job Summary

The Federal Inside Sales Intern will be responsible for directly supporting Nutanix outside Sales Representative(s) Federal team. This role will be responsible for providing operational support, calling into both existing and new customers, working with marketing to develop strategy and new qualified leads for sales. In addition, the intern will also work cooperatively with internal and external partners to improve the velocity of business and to create solutions that serve the best interests of our customers and Nutanix.

Responsibilities:

  • Operationally support the Field Federal Sales team, partners and distributors to drive opportunity velocity

  • Provide ad-hoc operational support for the Federal sales team (quotes, data entry, research, etc)

  • Generate leads through phone (50-80 calls per day) and email

Requirements:

  • Thick-skinned, aggressive, and ambitious with a relentless work ethic

  • Willing to hunt and do whatever it takes to find the right lead

  • Outgoing and love to talk to people, especially on the phone

  • Willing to do data entry.

  • Fascinated by technology, and excited about selling groundbreaking ideas and products in a fast paced startup environment

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Local to DC Metro area.

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (Junior or Senior) or MBA

  • Able to start immediately
