Senior Manager of Dialogue Systems
Capital One is seeking a Senior Manager of Dialogue Systems for an exciting new initiative to develop multichannel intelligent assistants that provide an outstanding experience for our customers. You will work closely with our lines of business to develop text- and speech-based dialogue systems for banking. You will develop techniques to enable natural, fluent conversations with customers. You are familiar with dialogue management, speech act theory, rule-based and statistical response generation, dialogue error detection and recovery, dialogue system evaluation, user modeling, and natural language generation. You have experience with vendor-based and open source SDKs and resources for intelligent assistants and dialogue. You are well-versed in machine learning and knowledge representation. You are a skilled software engineer in one or more languages: Java, Scala, Python, or C/C++. You have significant experience delivering complex systems.
At least 3 years of experience developing dialogue systems.
At least 3 years of experience in natural language processing.
At least 3 years of experience with agile software development and open source technologies.
At least 3 years of experience with DevOps practices.
Publications in SIGDIAL, IVA, Interspeech, ICMI, ACL, AAAI, and/or IJCAI.
