Assist in providing high quality strategy and policy advice in all areas of planning and resource
management policy development, ensuring that a best practice approach is taken. Provide expert advice and support on strategic management. Evaluate and determine strategic goals and objectives. Able to research, report, develop, monitor and review plans and strategies and policy documents.
Analytical and problem solving skills involving the identification of problems, analysis of information, formulation of workable solutions and the recommendation of appropriate solution(s).
Communication skills of a high standard, both verbally and in writing, including effective presentation of information.
Strategic planning and program evaluation skills
Ability and experience in formulating and composing policy across a wide range of subjects
A Master Degree or higher in BA Operations Research, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or related field.
The government will waive the master’s degree requirement if the candidate has a min of 8 years of experience working directly in the area of performance measurement, operations research, data analytics, collection or performance management, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration, operation research, Data Analytics, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or related field.
Applying analytic, diagnostic, and qualified techniques
Conducting independent research
Filtering and synthesizing data and producing clean, logical, concise products using spreadsheets for data manipulation and visualization
Presenting complex issues in written and graphical forms
Conducting independent analysis with minimal government supervision and presenting results to government management in either written and or oral format
Proficiency in MS office applications
