Description

The

Videographer will be responsible for company content for a wide variety of products and services from concept to product launch. The incumbent will work with the in-house Creative and Marketing teams to develop storyboards, scripts, title pages, etc.

for instructional videos. Content will be for internal and public viewing to market products and services; employee training initiatives; and various media communications promoting corporate identity and branding.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for creating video and sound production, including shooting, editing, and project management responsibilities from pre to post production

·

Create and maintain a corporate standard of visuals for videos as best practice guidelines that work with the company’s corporate identity and branding mission

·

Perform post-production editing using Adobe Creative Suite/Premiere in a

PC environment including audio with final output for web based media, Aftereffects/Photoshop

·

Determine necessary camera equipment and keep up on current trends

·

Perform proper maintenance of cameras and other A/V and production equipment

o

Maintain proper levels and calibration of cameras, audio and video recorders, and other production equipment

·

Transport, set up, and operate various production equipment including cameras, audio and video recorders, lighting equipment, props, and microphones for location and event production

·

Work with different types of existing video source files and convert/format them for use online and on social media

·

Ability to document timelines, work flows and schedules and assist marketing writers with storyboards for preliminary concept approval by management

·

Create audio voiceover and soundtracks to implement into video

·

Specific duties may vary depending upon departmental requirements

Requirements

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

·

Bachelor’s degree in video production and editing or related field required

·

Minimum five (5) years of experience working as a videographer in a corporate setting

·

Experience in adhering to corporate identity guidelines including creating video project templates to assist with web strategy and branding

·

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite/Premiere (PC environment)

o

Adobe Audition for sound/audio editing a plus

o

Aftereffects/Photoshop experience a plus

·

Experience script writing, storyboard concepts, photography and graphics design a plus

·

Photography and graphic design, 2D/3D experience a plus

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

·

Demonstrate ability to create, edit, produce and publish multimedia content

o

Ability to manage projects from conception through completion

·

Expert knowledge of current digital media production, equipment and processes for web based media

o

Demonstrate ability to publish web format via YouTube/company website/internet web media development

·

Strong time management skills required to

work on multiple, sometimes complex, projects simultaneously, both independently and with a team, under tight deadlines

o

Logical problem solving and demonstrated ability to organize and move project tasks forward in an orderly and structured fashion

·

Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills

o

Effectively communicate issues/problems and results that impact timelines, accuracy and reliability of production data

o

Work with management/legal department during editorial reviews and articulate editorial decisions

·

Proficiency in MS Office Suite

·

A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected including the ability to multi-task and work productively in a demanding financial environment with changing priorities

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

This position requires the ability to utilize equipment necessary to perform the job, and move about the office or out in the field.

·

Frequent lifting and movement of video equipment up to 50 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position is performed in a traditional office environment, lab environments and outdoor settings.
