SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Recruiter for its operational headquarters in Reston, VA . The Recruiter will be responsible for handling the full life-cycle recruiting process for corporate, program, and contingent pipeline hires. The ideal candidate will have prior experience recruiting in the government contracting industry and a demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment.


• Works with the Recruiting Director and business units to fill corporate and program positions

• Supports proposal preparation by recruiting key personnel, formatting resumes, and obtaining letters of commitment from contingent hires

• Collaborates with hiring managers to determine position specifications and pre-screening questions

• Sources candidates through Internet job boards, subscription databases, newspaper advertisements, cold calling, job fairs, networking, referrals, and other creative candidate sourcing strategies

• Pre-screens resumes, conducts initial interviews and evaluates candidates’ suitability for presentation to hiring manager

• Conducts reference checks

• Tracks and reports applicant flow and processing, as well as various recruiting metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire and recruiting effectiveness; maintains recruiting documentation required for OFCCP compliance

• Contributes to special projects as required

• Performs other duties assigned by supervisor


• Bachelor’s degree

• Three to five years combined agency and corporate recruiting experience

• Experience with supporting proposal activities

• Experience in the government contracting industry• Knowledge of employment laws and hiring practices; familiarity with OFCCP reporting

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

• Ability to multi-task and to organize and prioritize multiple on-going projects in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to speak with large groups of prospective candidates

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite applications and hands-on familiarity with various recruiting sources and tools



• Working knowledge of ATS/Onboarding products

• Experience working directly with Program Managers and capture teams

• Broad recruiting experience (IT, Program Management, contract support, sales, and data center) in high volume environments a plusWork Environment

• Working conditions are normal for an office environment

• Requires periods of non-traditional hours including consecutive nights or weekends when necessary

• May require ability to lift/and or move objects or packages of up to 25 lbs
