Northrop Grumman Technology Services Sector is seeking a Human Resources Manager for the Systems Modernization and Services Division in our McLean, VA location. The HR Manager is responsible for developing and ensuring execution of HR priorities that align with business objectives while providing value as a business partner. Emphasis will be in driving key workforce transitions, shaping the human resources element on key captures, and partnering with the business and HR team to support our growth. Successful candidate will excel at developing competitive and affordable workforce strategies in support of current and new business efforts; collaborating with site, programs and functional leadership to provide guidance on a wide range of talent priorities to include developing leaders, culture change and talent engagement. This role requires strong leadership and will manage a team of HR Business Partners.
-Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field with a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources or Master's degree and 8 years of progressive experience in Human Resources
-Experience with developing and leading workforce strategy
-Experience working on new business pursuits/captures/proposals
-Demonstrated ability to influence, collaborate, and problem solve
-Proven past performance as a HR Business Partner or Center of Excellence
Lead and trusted advisor to leadership
-Strong written, verbal, presentation/communication skills
-Proven experience with project management, to include successfully leading a project team
-Strong coaching and consulting skills with an orientation towards thought leadership and strategy development
-Ability to obtain a government security clearance
-Master’s degree in a related field
-Experience managing people
-Labor Relations (Union) Experience
