BAE Systems is seeking motivated individuals who want the opportunity to support the fight against the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL). These positions will be located in the CJOA which could include: Iraq, Kuwait, Jordan, or Turkey.
Global Analysis and Operations currently has an opening for a Senior Intelligence Operations Planner supporting CJTF-OIR. The Intelligence Operations Planner provides senior level analytical advising for military and DoD civilian operational planning. This is done through participation in routine operational planning in accordance with battle rhythm events and in Concept of Operations (CONOP) development, for upcoming coalition campaign within CJTF-OIR CJOA.
Successful candidates will conduct intelligence analysis related to counter-terrorism, HUMINT, SIGINT, CI, Iraq and Syria regional issues, and targeting and Advise military or DoD civilian analysts on enemy and coalition activities that affect operational planning. They will research, develop, and present post-graduate level intelligence products at the operational and strategic levels for senior leadership.
Additionally, they will Interact with General Officer (GO), Senior Executive Service (SES), and other OIR Staff Planners and advise/inform/educate CJTF-OIR GO/SES level officials. They will be required to maintain situational awareness of National Military Strategy, Joint Strategy Capabilities Plans, Theater Strategy, Theater/Global Campaign Plans, Global Force Management (GFM), Strategic Guidance Statements, Planning Orders (PLANORD), and Commander OIR policies and PIRs.
Minimum Education And Experience
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Required Skills And Education
Education - Bachelor's Degree OR eight years of direct and relevant equivalent experience
Experience - 8 to 10 years military experience in Military Intelligence, Strategic Intelligence, Special Operations, Area Intelligence, or Multi INTs within DoD or equivalent Government agencies such as MOS 35M-Human Intelligence Collector (HUMINT Collector), 18F Special Forces Intelligence Sergeant, 180A SF WO, USMC - 0211 Counterintelligence/Human Intelligence (CI/HUMINT) Specialist; 0231 Intelligence Specialist , U.S. Navy - Navy Intelligence Specialist, USAF -1N7X1 Human Intelligence Specialist, 1N4X1 Intelligence Fusion Analyst, 7XOS1 - Special Investigator (SI)
Clearance - Required
Special skills or qualifications -
Multiple deployments to different AORs
Superb communication skills
Requires submission of an unclassified analytical writing sample on Afghanistan, Iraq, Turkey Syria, Iran, Al Qaeda, the Taliban, the Haqqani Network, ISIS, or the HIG (250 word minimum) with resume
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Proficient at briefing senior leadership at the O6 level or higher
Proficient in utilizing advanced computer applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development
Expert knowledge in the following areas: Middle East regional issues, political analysis
