DescriptionThis position provides customer assistance for several analytic applications/tools as part of a 24x5x365 application support effort. This is an evening shift position (hours 8 pm - 6 am). Provide direct assistance to customers on how to use several applications and other associated analytic tools, including formulating queries and profiles, responding to questions, troubleshooting and monitoring system availability. The candidate will assist in the development and/or review of training materials and application documentation, including course manuals, workbooks, handouts, and computer based training (CBT), and other multimedia training aids. Capture, categorize, and report trouble calls and suggested system enhancements. May provide feedback for, or participate in end user focus groups, readiness reviews, and other sessions as an advocate for customer requirements, customer features. Troubleshooting support may require interaction with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and/or development teams. On occasion, the candidate will be asked to perform validation testing.Mandatory Skills1. Demonstrated on-the-job experience providing Tier 1 support.2. Demonstrated on-the-job experience exhibiting analytical and problem solving skills in a Tier 1 environment.3. Demonstrated on-the-job experience assisting users with multiple software applications.4. Demonstrated on-the-job experience working with Web technologies.Optional Skills1. Demonstrated on-the-job experience using the Sponsor's tools and systems.2. Demonstrated on-the-job experience using the Sponsor's Help Desk Suite.3. Demonstrated on-the-job experience with Automated Call Distribution (ACD) systems.4. Demonstrated on-the-job experience interacting with Sponsor personnel at all levels.5. Demonstrated on-the-job experience with software application training.6. Demonstrated on-the-job experience exhibiting customer service skills.
