Kforce has a client seeking a Senior Office 365 Engineer in Germantown, Maryland (MD).Summary:A Senior Office 365 Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining and supporting all components of the enterprise Office 365 systems and associated infrastructure, including all related applications, servers and services. Individuals in this position will need to maintain a high level of ownership and investment in tasks associated with both new and ongoing SharePoint-based needs within the IT environment.Incumbents must be able to lead efforts in troubleshooting, remediating and optimizing all Office 365-based issues, while also working with customer requirements and providing educated recommendations to management. The client is urgently seeking a candidate to assist with the migration of on-premises system solutions to Office 365 equivalent solutions, while consolidating and optimizing the environment.Office 365 Engineers are expected to implement and administer the following systems:

  • Exchange Online, including an on-premises Hybrid Configuration

  • SharePoint Online, including Office Online and an on-premises Hybrid Configuration

  • Skype for Business Online, including an on-premises Hybrid Configuration

  • Azure Active Directory, Azure Rights Management Services, and Information Rights Management

  • Enterprise Mobility and Security solutions, including Intune, Azure AD Premium, Azure Information Protection, Advanced Threat Analytics and Protection

  • 5 years of Senior-Level (Tier 3) Administration experience in an enterprise IT environment, having performed operational and break/fix activity

  • 2 years of developing information system design, governance, process, procedure and education documentation

  • Moderate experience with the administration of Microsoft Exchange, including 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016, or Online versions

  • Moderate experience with the administration of Microsoft SharePoint, including 2010, 2013, 2014, or Online versions

  • Moderate experience with the administration of Microsoft Skype for Business/Lync, including 2010, 2013, 2015, or Online versions

  • Expertise with implementing and supporting OneDrive for Business, as part of the Office 365 SharePoint Online experience

  • Knowledgeability of the implementation and support of the web-based Office Online applications, including Word Online, Excel Online, PowerPoint Online, OneNote Online, and Delve

  • Knowledgeability of implementing and managing Azure Rights Management Services and Information Rights Management policies

  • Extensive experience with the design and implementation of IT projects and major efforts, to include documentation, communication, and coordination of all components; expertise with professionally coordinating and assisting customer support (tier-1 or tier-2) personnel with SharePoint-related incidents and tasks

  • Ability to coordinate with first- and third-party software vendors as needed for resolution of business-impacting problems

Preferred Skills:

  • 1 years of experience migrating user content to SharePoint Online with common industry tools and procedures
