We are seeking a summer intern to work with our Analytical Development group at Novavax. The candidate may work on projects related to, but not restricted to: Assisting with critical reagent inventory maintenance and distribution and critical reagent stability trending. Preparing aliquot and testing critical reagents. The candidate will learn the process of antibody generation and qualification. Summarizing and analyzing critical reagent qualification results, assisting with qualification report writing. Learning and performing ELISA, SDS-PAGE, Western Blot, etc. Duration: Summer 2017 Minimum requirements: Current 3rd or 4th year undergraduate student in a related science program.The candidate should be proficient with Microsoft Office programs. Must have positive working moral in team-based, hard working environment.Must have the ability to focus on the key tasks and execute the experiments in time.Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.Detail oriented and self-motivated.Previous work experience in a biotech institution is preferred, but not required.
