CACI International Field Engineer 3 in Fairfax, Virginia
Liaison between traveling field installers, client sites, and customer management in the deployment, implementation, and operational sustainment of worldwide information transport network. Monitor and advise installations and upgrades to network, track progress, review compliance issues, provide guidance and ensure/review deliverable milestones/documentation are completed for multiple projects. First point of contact for installers for resolution and responsible for implementing expedite/escalation procedures. Research and initiate procurement of bill of materials for schedule and unscheduled projects and failed field replaceable equipment. Initiate purchasing of equipment to maintain system and maintenance stock. Review documentation and deployment tasks with traveling installation field technicians. Some travel to maintain proficiency or support manning shortages.
While on travel, the PHYSICAL DEMANDS also include the ability to stand; walk; stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl; frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds; use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms and climb or balance. Travel of up to 25% is required. Current TS/SCI w/Polygraph clearance Required
