FCi Federal has an opportunity for a Lead Recruiting Coordinator to join our Talent Acquisition team at the Headquarters offices in Ashburn, VA. This is a highly visible role with responsibility for leading our team of Recruiting Coordinators as well as being an individual contributor as you provide critical support to a team of Recruiters responsible for filling a high volume of positions with quality candidates.

As the Lead Recruiting Coordinator with FCi Federal, you will provide a wide range of support, including:

  • Working with the VP, Talent Acquisition and Manager, Talent Acquisition Operations to ensure efficient and effective workflow processes for the Recruiting Coordinator role and responsibilities, including continual improvement of process and procedures

  • Monitoring workload across the Recruiting Coordinator Team and making recommendations as to resource allocation based on project workload

  • Ensuring quality for all Recruiting Coordinator deliverables

  • Managing consistency in use and providing training for all Recruiting Coordinator work tools, including systems, Excel workbooks, and process documentation

  • Leading the weekly Recruiting Coordinator team meeting

  • Assisting the recruiting department by posting jobs and sourcing candidates; screening candidates; scheduling interviews with hiring managers; generating offers; etc.

  • Sending new hire paperwork to new employees and tracking return; ensuring all forms are received and paperwork is complete

  • Administering background checks, drug screens, etc. within various vendor systems

  • Acting as the liaison between Recruiting and the Human Capital team for new hire onboarding

  • Assisting as needed with Talent Acquisition projects or administrative needs

  • Assisting as needed with reporting on recruiting metrics, employee referral program, etc.

In order to be successful in this role, we expect that qualified candidates will have the following skills, abilities, knowledge, and experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in Recruiting / Recruiting Operations / Recruiting Administration in a Government Contracting environment

  • 3+ years of total work experience

  • High School diploma required, Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Computer/system skills required: Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, MS SharePoint, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)

  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and organization skills required

  • Proven ability to lead others

  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment and relate well to others

  • Ability to show initiative and commitment to the company’s goals

  • Ability to readily adapt to quickly changing requirements and to manage priorities and workload accordingly, both for yourself and the team as a whole

  • Strong commitment to performing and producing at the highest level of quality at all times

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with coworkers both in written and verbal communication

  • Positive attitude focused on customer satisfaction
