Description:

Role Description: The Analytics Data Modeler and Visualization Developer is responsible for enhancing existing and building new data models from the client's transactional system to be used for analytics reports, visualizations and statistical tools. The candidate will work directly with the Diplomatic Security client to translate business requirements into enterprise-wide solutions for government agencies. All analytical models are built with special consideration to scale.

Responsibilities include the following: • Work with functional teams to build analytical solutions based on functional design documents • Build data models in SAP HANA, Oracle 11g or other database software to load analytical engines • Build analytical visualization solutions primarily using MicroStrategy but potentially using Tableau, Qlik or other analytics/reporting software • Build statistical analysis models based on functional requirements • Support test, deploy and post go-live support of analytical solutions • Document technical specifications of the analytical solutions • Provide level of effort estimates for future projects

Required Skills: • Minimum 5 years of hands-on data modeling using Oracle • Minimum 2 years of hands-on analytical modeling building using MicroStrategy • Minimum of a bachelor's degree • Minimum 1 year of SDK experience

Additional Preferred Skills: • Experience in supply chain management application development • 2+ years with SAP HANA development a strong plus • 2+ years with PeopleSoft experience • 2+ years with Ariba experience • Agile Scrum development methodology • Experience with one or more of HTML5, Javascript, .NET, SAS, R • Application development experience, unit testing, design documentation • Previous experience with a large professional services organization

Government Requirements: 1. Must be able to receive a Secret clearance 2. Must complete a Background Investigation prior to start of work.
