eGlobalTechInc Deputy Security Program Manager in Arlington, Virginia

About the Role:

This individual will serve as the Deputy PM supporting the eGT PM and the Government CISO for a Federal information security program. This individual will be responsible for managing contractor and subcontractor staff in a highly matrixed client environment. This individual will assist with preparing program management plan, quality management plans, work breakdown structures and reports and other program and project management tools. This individual will assist with quality control and performance management, and serve as an advisor to the team and the customer.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Program Manager with managing a team of 50 staff
  • Assist with monitoring subcontractor performance
  • Assist with hiring staff, onboarding and managing performance
  • Assist with completing program management deliverables
  • Act as an individual contributor on strategic deliverables
  • Develop an advisor relationship with the customer
  • Oversee the quality assurance team and perform quality management on deliverables
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years’ experience managing information security projects in the Federal Government with the ability to lead a team in a highly matrixed environment
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity legislation and requirements such as FISMA and FIPS
  • Strong knowledge of security-relevant NIST publications and the Risk Management Framework
  • Experience developing program management tools and documents (e.g. project plans, PMPs, staffing plans, WBS, etc.)
  • Superior interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work full time on the customer site and to eGT HQ in Arlington as needed
  • Ability to be flexible with schedule to support the customer mission
Desired Qualifications:

  • CISSP or PMP strongly desired
  • Experience with agile project management
